The Flu
Typically, the flu DOES NOT include:
- Sneezing
- Sore throat
- Nasal stuffiness
However the flu may include:
- Moderate to extreme tiredness
- Unexplained chills
- High fever
- Aches and pains
- Headache
- Dry cough — no mucus
- Chest discomfort
- Symptoms advance quickly, possibly within 3 to 6 hours
A Cold
Typically, a cold does not include:
- Headache
- Chills
- Fever
However, a cold may include:
- Sneezing
- Sore throat
- Stuffy nose
- Hacking cough that produces mucus
A cold may also include moderate or mild:
- Tiredness
- Chest discomfort
- Body pains and aches
- And cold symptoms usually develop over the course of a few days
